It looks like QUALITY queer entertainment is on the forefront in 2018! TFF MAG editors have stumbled across a number of LGBTQ oriented indie shows that are hitting the web/silver screen sometime this year. Among them is our latest project "30" which is based on the queer read "She's Just Not That Into You". If you haven't already followed our official Ig page, do so now!
WATER IN A BROKEN GLASS
Ok, so first up as it pertains to FAB quality shows is Water in a Broken Glass. This show is based in Baltimore Maryland and follows the life of a young lady who is caught in a love triangle between a man and a woman. A snippet of the film can be viewed on their IG page. Velvet Web Series
A new series coming soon! March 28th, Chicago based web series "Velvet" will be hitting the web via Open TV the spring! The show is based on the experiences of seven queer friends in the Chi Town who compiled their stories and lessons into one file inevitably, creating a foundation for the series Velvet. Watch five Chicagoans navigate the scene while exploring the joys of vulnerability, friendship and "everything that comes with making new friends in your mid twenties".
The premiere of the show will take place March 28th at the Chicago Cultural Center from 6-8 PM. Make sure you tune in and check out their website to stay in the loop!
Let Nina Prosper
Let Lina Prosper is a FAB new show highlighting the relationship between "Nina", a Black queer woman of color, and her girlfriend, a queer Latina woman of color. The show itself follows Nina and her gal pals as they face lifes challenges one day at a time.
"Queer women of color rarely have the opportunity to be funny on television and in film. Yes, we go through challenges in life - we all do. But QPOC can laugh, tell jokes, create friendships, and strengthen love relationships - just like everyone else. It's important to see that." - Eboni Sade

30 follows Sonie Black and her girl gang through the streets of H Town as they grapple with the changes evolving in your thirties require.
