TFF Approved! Best LGBT Film of 2018 is The Miseducation of Cameron Post

Three friends, homophobic parents, and a gay reform camp that tie in the theme of their lives…. Becoming ex gays. The Miseducation of Cameron Post is hands down the best LGBT film of 2018. The film premiered at Sundance Festival this year and made quite the name for itself on and off the silver screen. The storyline and amazing acting combined appeals to women and men of all ages.

Based on the celebrated novel by Emily M. Danforth, THE MISEDUCATION OF CAMERON POST follows the titular character (Chloë Grace Moretz) as she is sent to a gay conversion center after being caught with another girl in the back seat of a car on prom night. Run by the strict and severe Dr. Lydia Marsh (Jennifer Ehle, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE) and her brother, Reverend Rick (John Gallagher Jr.), himself an example of how those in the program can be “cured,” the center is built on repenting for same sex attraction.

The Miseducation of Cameron Post will be available to viewers via iTunes on November 6th. TFF MAG will be hosting a special FREE screening of the film at Brasil this month as well so stay tuned for updates on that event! Enjoy the trailer below and tell a friend about this film!
